Energy Modelling Research Group (EMRG)

Since 1993, the Energy Modelling Research Group has been undertaking research on various aspects of modelling the electricity sector, within the Department of Management at the University of Canterbury.

The group has slightly decreased its activity over recent years, and this site contains a largely historical record of the group’s activities, along with lists of papers authored by past and present group members. Two students, Paul Stewart and James Tipping, began PhD theses in 2003 as part of EMRG. The titles of their theses and their contact details can be found on the EMRG Graduate Research and EMRG People pages respectively.
