Sanna is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour. Her research interests are in the fields of organisational behaviour, organisational psychology and human resource management. She completed her PhD on (implicit) workplace ageism, and is passionate about enhancing employee wellbeing and making workplaces better. She is a lead researcher in the Employee Resilience Research group, and mostly uses quantitative methods in her research. Some of her current research projects focus on volunteer worker management, organisational resilience and employee wellbeing, resilience, engagement and retention. Sanna is a member of the Industrial and Organisational Psychology Division of the New Zealand Psychological Society, the Institute of Organisational Psychology, and is an advisor to the Coaching Psychology Special Interest Group (CPSIG) steering group.
