Sanna is a Senior Lecturer in Management at the University of Canterbury, and coordinates the Human Resources & Organisational Behaviour (HR/OB) team. Her research interests are in the fields of organisational behaviour, organisational psychology and human resource management. She is a lead researcher in the Employee Resilience Research group, and some of her ongoing research projects focus on volunteer worker management, coaching psychology, and employee attitudes, engagement and retention. Sanna is a member of the Industrial and Organisational Psychology Division of NZPsS, and has been a member of the Coaching Psychology Special Interest Group (CPSIG) steering group since 2011. She has taken responsibility for organising professional development opportunities for coaching psychologists in the South Island, and is an active member of the Christchurch I/O group.
