Dr Mesbahuddin Chowdhury is Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management in the Department of Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, University of Canterbury. He formerly served as Research Fellow in the Department of Accounting, Monash University, Australia. He also served as a Lecturer at North South University (NSU) and Independent University Bangladesh (IUB), Dhaka and was actively involved in teaching Operations Management, Business Statistics and Business Mathematics courses at undergraduate level.
Dr. Chowdhury’s current research interests focus on the role of social capital in buyer-supplier relationship and the impact of supplier management practice on performance improvement. He has been published in peer-reviewed journal such as International Journal of Production Economics. He published a number of book chapters in Cases in Business and Management.
