Australia and New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC)

The College of Business and Economics will play host to the Australia and New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC) Conference in December 2010.

The theme of the conference will be "doing more with less", reflecting the turbulent environment of the current marketplace, and reinforcing the current research focus of "sustainable consumption" for the marketing group.

The bid for the conference was led by Associate Professor David Fortin, with the other bidder being a coalition of the University of Auckland and the Auckland University of Technology. The bid focused on the five key reasons why UC was best placed to host the conference, with staff coming in at number one.

It is expected that around 400 to 500 delegates will attend the conference, with 75% from Australasia and the remainder from further afield.
